The Executive Committee and Imam Kasim Kopuz are deeply saddened by the report of the death of our longtime friend Richard Antoun, Professor Emeritus of Binghamton University. As you may have heard, he was fatally stabbed by a student this afternoon and passed away at Wilson Hospital. May his soul rest in peace. Professor Antoun was a regular visitor to the Islamic Center and an active participant in the interfaith events held in this community. His support and friendship will be deeply missed.
