Some Highlights of IOST:

  • The most common services & programs that Muslims in the Binghamton area come to IOST for.

  • Check out the tabs to the right and stop by the masjid today.

IOST is open everyday for all 5 daily prayers. Alhamdulillah, there are a few brothers and sisters for each prayers, and there is always a jama’ah (congregation). Furthermore, the masjid is open from Asr to Isha everyday. With clean restrooms, open during ALL prayers, and centrally located in New York (right off the 86 and 81 highways) IOST is perfect for stopping by during prayer time. For more information about the prayer times, please click here.
Alhamdulillah, through the grace and mercy of Allah SWT, the Childrens Qur’an Classes are IOST’s most well attended program. These classes are held Mondays through Thursdays in the IOST Prayer Hall, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. With over 70 children enrolled and with 8 teachers, the community benefits from these classes tremendously. For more information, please click here, or stop by the masjid during hours (Monday thru Thursday 5:00-7:00 PM)!
The Sisters’ Halaqah is IOST’s weekly program for women. Meeting every Thursday (outside Ramadhan) from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM, the Sisters’ Halaqah is an informative talk by Ustadha Areeba Baig. In the past, we have studies hadith, tafseer, tazkiyah, fiqh, and more! Currently we are doing the tafseer of Surah Noor. Please click here for more info.
